Ernest Green

Ernest P. Green, age 67, of Lattimore, NC, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.
Ernest was born on October 15, 1943 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Albert Golden Green and Inez Smith Green. He served in the US Army and was a commercial truck driver. He retired from Waggoner's Trucking. He enjoyed golfing, John Wayne movies, bird watching and watching airplanes. He was a Baptist.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marilyn Green.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Roseann Atkins Green; one daughter, Lisa Bumgarner of Lattimore; two sons, James Green and wife, Robin of Rutherfordton and Matthew Green and wife, Cheryl of Grover, NC; three sisters, Peggy Ballard of Forest City, Joan Bennett of Caroleen and Patricia Davis of Stanley, NC; two brothers, Jerry Green of Forest City and Leon Green of Ellenboro. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jason Cribb, Sara Green and Connor Green and several nieces and nephews.
