Emily Hyde

Emily Ledbetter Hyde, age 70, of New House Road, Shelby, NC, died Friday, July 4, 2014 in Winston-Salem.
Born November 15, 1943 in Henrietta, NC, she was the daughter of the late Fred Ledbetter and Louise Honeycutt Ledbetter. Emily was a homemaker who was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Renee McDaniel and two brothers, Joel Dean Ledbetter and Ray Hugh Ledbetter.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-two years, Daniel T. Hyde; son, Blake Hyde and wife, Nguyen of Winston-Salem; daughter, Anita McDaniel Greene of Forest City; uncle, Carmel Honeycutt and wife, Mildred of Cliffside; three grandchildren, Brandon Greene, Meagan Wesson and Aaliyah Tran. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
No formal services will be conducted.
