Elvira Vidal

Elvira Ramos-Alvarez Vidal, age 60, of Walker Street, Forest City, NC died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
Elvira was born January 25, 1959 in San Lucas Tejupilco, Mexico to the late Teodosia Osorio Ramos and Maxima Borja Alvarez. She was a faithful member of Iglesia Cristiana Monte De Sion in Rutherfordton. Elvira loved taking care of her family and cooking. She also enjoyed growing flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her daughter, Reyna Ramos Vidal and grandparents, Porcopio Alvarez Ramos and Socorro Borja Nabor.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of forty-five years, Prudencio Vidal; two sons, Eliecerr Vidal (Amity) of Davidson, NC and Salvador Vidal (Julia) of Texas; three daughters, Maria Soledad of Texas, Griselda Vidal of Forest City and Gloria Vidal of Florida. She is also survived by four brothers, three sisters, twenty-seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Iglesia Cristiana Monte De Sion in Rutherfordton with Reverend Angel Rosas officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
