Edward Bentzley

Edward L. Bentzley, age 71, of Firpo Road, Forest City, NC, died Monday, April 10, 2012 at Hospice House.
Edward was born April 1, 1941 in Schuylkill County, PA to the late Harold Bentzley and Sarah Shields Bentzley. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked as a supervisor in plastic manufacturing for many years. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He attended the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Nancy Bentzley and two brothers, Jackie Bentzley and Harold Bentzley.
Survivors include two sons, Edward H. Bentzley and wife, Cheryl and Scott H. Bentzley all of Forest City; one brother, Patrick J. Bentzley and wife, Betty of Freemont, CA. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Noah Hughes, Eugene Stafford, Sheila Stafford and Kathy Stafford.
