Doris Shires

Doris Hutchins Shires, age 54, of 4468 US Highway 221 South, Forest City, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Rutherford Hospital.
Doris was born on July 10, 1956 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Jolley Milues Hutchins and Pauline Conner Hutchins. She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She was a 1974 graduate of R-S Central High School and a member of M & T Ministries.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 35 years, Larry Shires; four sons, Scott Shires of Spindale, Keith Shires and wife, Lora of Six Points, Joseph Shires and wife, Connie of Forest City and Ricky Shires of the home; two brothers, Roy Hutchins of Forest City and Roger Hutchins and wife, Cindy of Mooresboro. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
