Dennis Warlick

Dennis Warlick, age 79, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Caromont Regional Hospital in Gastonia.

Dennis was born on Thursday, July 26, 1945, to the late James Frank Warlick and Callie Robbins Warlick. He was a member of Florence Baptist Church for many years where he was a former Sunday school teacher. Dennis was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Isothermal Community College where he earned an associate’s degree. Dennis worked for Haynes Plant/Cone Mills in Avondale for forty-one years and was presently working for Forest City Honda the last seventeen years. In his free time, he could be found fishing, watching birds, feeding deer and other wildlife, and driving his Corvette.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his fur baby, Ginger.

Left to cherish memories of his life are his beloved wife of nearly sixty years, Diane Lynch Warlick; his sister-in-law, Joyce Lynch, of Forest City; brother-in-law, Danny Lynch, of Forest City; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 pm on Thursday, April 10th at Florence Baptist Church with Reverend Daniel Selman officiating. Interment will follow in the Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service time.
