David Burns

David Lee 'Pops' Burns, age 64, of Mooresboro, NC, died June 20, 2012 at Hospice House.
'Pops' was born December 3, 1947 in Cleveland County, NC to the late Julius Burns and Effie Langford Hudson. He was a welder most of his life and an avid fisherman. He was a member of Sisk Memorial Missionary Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Burns and one sister, Barbara Toney.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Carolyn Burns; two sons, one daughter, one step-son and daughter in-law. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
