Curtis Lowe

Curtis Eugene Lowe, age 49, of Spindale, NC, died Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at his residence.
Born November 13, 1966 in Spartanburg County, SC, he was a son of the late Robert Lowe and Linda Hamrick Bright. He was a graduate of R-S Central, class of 1985. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during Desert Storm as a member of the 101st Air Borne Division. Curtis enjoyed welding, fishing, camping and working outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Lowe.
Survivors include two sons, C.J. Lowe and Andrew Lowe both of Spindale; one daughter, Amanda Lowe; father, Odell Bright also of Spindale; sister, Karen Campbell and husband, Scott of Ellenboro; brother, Michael Bright of Spindale; two grandchildren, Emma and Lucas Hensley and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2015 at Piney Mountain Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
