Cookie Greene

Geraldine 'Cookie' Greene, age 67, of Henrietta, NC, died Friday, November 19, 2010 at Crawley Hospital in Boiling Springs, NC.
Geraldine was born on February 25, 1943 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Hoyle Dee Humphries and Elizabeth Tritt Humphries. She was a life-time member of Temple Baptist Church and worked for PPG Industries for many years. She had the heart of servant and was always taking care of her family and others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Bobby Lee Greene; one sister, Norma Kay Thomas; one great grandson, Elijah Greene and a daughter in-law, Kathy Greene.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Ingle and husband, Randy, of Forest City; two sons, Mark Greene and Robby Greene both of Henrietta; one adopted son, Ben Greene of the home; one brother, Dennis Humphries of Old Fort, NC; seven grandchildren, Dean Ingle, Kiley Beaver, Nickie Hall, Clint Ingle, Marcus Greene, Trae Greene, Taylor Childress; eight great-grandchildren, Layne Beaver, Lauren Ingle, Christina Beaver, Myra Beaver, Hayden Hall, Kelsey Ingle, Eden Hall, Landon Greene and several nieces and nephews.
