Clyde "Robert" Waters

Clyde Robert Waters, age 63, of Hickory, NC, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at CHS-Blueridge in Valdese.

Robert was born June 11, 1957 in Rutherford County to the late Betty Ann Wishon. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School and was of the Baptist faith. Robert was an auto-body repair technician for many years and worked for Knight Auto Sales in Hickory. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary “Cat Man” Shehan.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Robbin Waters; son Robert William Waters of Campobello, SC; siblings, Raymond Waters (Denise) of Ellenboro, Gail McDaniel (Joey) of Hickory, Tommy Wishon (Dawn) of Mooresboro, Crystal Lahmer of Forest City and Edward Wishon (Angie) of Forest City. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Jasmine, Tyler, Jordan and Tragen.

A private celebration of life will be conducted on a later date.
