Claude T. Greene

Claude T. Greene, age 51, of Rutherfordton, passed away March 7, 2025 at his home.

Claude was born Sunday, May 6, 1973 in Rutherfordton to Barbara S. Greene who resides in Gilkey and the late Clyde Greene. He was a “Jack of all Trades” during his working years. Claude was a truck driver for TMC for many years and was in the roofing business along with many other various jobs. Claude was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and repairing motorcycles. He enjoyed working with his hands and fixing anything mechanical. Claude was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters and ten brothers.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years, Amy McCraw Greene; sons, Brandon Greene (Aaliyah) of Rutherfordton and Dylan Greene (Kristina) of Polkville; brother, Kenneth Greene of Cherryville; grandchildren, Brayden, Xavier, Christian, Mayvis, Aurora, Malakai, Emma, Aliyah, Lilith and his nephew, Austin Greene.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Monday, March 10th at Harrelson Funeral Home. There will be a celebration of Claude’s life at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 15th at his son’s home, 190 Tryon Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.
