Claude Davis

Claude Davis, age 89, of Forest City, passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Claude was born in Rutherford County on Tuesday, May 14, 1935 to the late William Arbert Davis and Paris Lucille Davis. He was a professing Christian and grew up working in a local Sawmill. Most of his life, he was a farm laborer as he traveled between Florida and North Carolina picking apples, oranges, and all other types of produce. He was known for his tenacious work ethic. Claude was an avid supporter of President Trump and enjoyed keeping up with current events and was a nutrition enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Ruth Davis; brothers, Curtis Davis and Carl Davis; and an infant son, Claude Wilbern Davis Jr.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughter, Geraldine Davis (Lynyrd Pipes) of Detroit, Michigan and a nephew, Brandon Davis, of Arizona.

A graveside service was conducted at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, February 25th in the Spindale Cemetery with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating.
