Clara Cole

Clara Jo Wood Cole, age 75, of Forest City, NC, died Friday, March 25, 2011 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
Clara was born on March 26, 1935 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Frank Oswald Wood and Mary Chapman Wood. She worked in textiles most of her life and was a longtime member of Joshua Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Bobby Cole; one son, Walter Cole; one grandson, Brandon Addison; a brother, Jerry Wood and a sister, Wanda Murray.
Survivors include one daughter, Pam Smith and husband, Willie of Rutherfordton; four sons, Ronnie Cole, Ed Cole, Reverend Ernie Cole and wife, Kayren all of Mooresboro, Dwight Cole and wife, Mary Ellen of Ft. Worth, TX; one sister, Brenda Fox of Forest City; one daughter in-law, Jenny Cole of Mooresboro. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
