Cheryl Kennedy-Jones

Cheryl Kennedy-Jones, age 70, of Bostic, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Cheryl was born Thursday, November 17, 1955 in Rutherford County to the late John Albert Kennedy and Mary Ollie Simpson Kennedy. She was a graduate of Isothermal Community College. Cheryl worked as a medical records transcriptionist for many years. She enjoyed playing the piano and loved her animals. Cheryl was a Christian who walked and lived her faith and believed in the dignity and of every person. She truly had a heart for others.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband of twenty-two years, Michael Jones; and her beloved son, Jonathan Mesich McClay (Katie) of Winston-Salem.

A celebration of Cheryl's life will take place on a date to be announced.
