Charles Honeycutt

Charles Oneil Honeycutt, age 77, of 144 Harris-Henrietta Road, Harris, NC, died Monday, August 3, 2009 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
Charles was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late William Saul Honeycutt and Bernice Henderson Honeycutt. He worked in textiles most of his life and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, quail hunting and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jason Seagle and by his sister, Betty Rowe.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Shirley Honeycutt; three daughters, Becky Seagle of Harris, Diane Robbins of Ellenboro and Debra Stringfield of Harris; one son, Donald Honeycutt of Sandy Mush; two sisters, Gail Shields of Chesnee, SC and Joy Turner of Holly Springs; two brothers, Billy Honeycutt of Broad River Community and Rupert Honeycutt of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Manuel Seagle and his wife Michelle, Stephen Raya and his wife Sally, Gretta Johnson, Brian Honeycutt, Nickolas Raya, Chelsea Robbins and Kendra Walker; and two great grandchildren, Courtney and Dustin Johnson.
