Charles Dula

Charles Dula, age 76, of 138 Longview Drive, Forest City, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He was born June 6, 1931 in Asheville, NC to the late Gilmer A. Dula and Mae Guthrie Dula. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Charles Dula. He worked in the textile mills for 45 years mostly as a foreman. Mr. Dula was a 50 year member of the Florence Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing golf and was a North Carolina Tarheel Basketball fan.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Edith Jenkins Dula of the home; a son, Mike Allen Dula and his wife Brenda of Elon, NC and one granddaughter, Adrienne Dula of Lenoir, NC.
