After a long illness with pulmonary fibrosis, Cathy Ewing, of Forest City, NC, passed away on December 30, 2013 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
In addition to her parents, Joseph and Patsy Boyles of Gastonia, Cathy is survived by her son Adam Kent Ewing, Forest City, NC and her daughter Ashley Renee Ewing of Newport News, VA, her two grandchildren Logan Tapia and Eleanor Carey both of Newport News, VA, her sister Sandra Boyles Rhyne and husband David, and her brother Terry Harris of Ellerbe, NC.
A private service and inurnment is to be held at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia at a later date.
