Carolyn Olivia Woodward Migues

Carolyn Olivia Woodward Migues, age 84, of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at her home.

Carolyn was born Sunday, August 18, 1940 in New Iberia, Louisiana to the late Thomas Allen Woodward and Nanny Geraldine Kemp Woodward. She worked as the office manager for her family-owned construction company in Mansfield, Louisiana for many years. She held the distinction of being a volunteer for the Red Cross for over fifty years. Carolyn was a very gifted artist and was also known for her crafted custom-made walking sticks. She enjoyed participating in the Senior Games and Olympics and was an avid animal lover.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Teddy Paul Marshall Migues and a brother, Tommy A. Woodward, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Vicki Migues-Jordan (Mary) of Baltimore, Maryland; sons, JC Migues (Lisa) of Stonewall, Louisiana and Terry Migues (Danna) of Mooresboro; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.

In honor of Carolyn’s wishes, no formal services will be conducted.
