Bruce Cantrell

Bruce Edward "Bammer" Cantrell, age 51, of Forest City, died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Mission Hospital in Asheville.
Born October 18, 1964 in Henderson County, he was a son of Otis Edward Cantrell and Patsy Elizabeth Billingsley Scott.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph Scott.
Survivors include his son, Cody Cantrell; parents, Otis Cantrell and Patsy Scott; sister, Alisa McLaughlin; fiancé, Linda Conner and her two daughters; nieces, Sarah McLaughlin and Samantha McIntosh. He is also survived by multiple stepbrothers, stepsisters, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
