Bobby Joe Parker, age 77, of Forest City, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby.
Bobby was born Sunday, January 18, 1948 in Benton, Kentucky to the late Joe Parker and Doradean Dunn Parker. Bobby owned and operated Parker Air and HVAC in Kentucky. He worked for Disney World as an engineer for several years and most recently for Harmony Hills Senior Living as a maintenance technician. He was an active member of the Livestream Church in Chesnee. Bobby enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, and anything outdoors which included camping, fishing and hunting. He was an animal lover and volunteered at the Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue. Bobby’s life passion was his family, and he especially enjoyed sharing stories about his childhood with his grandkids.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Edward and Charlene Hall.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of twenty-two years, Angela Hall Parker; son, Jarrod Parker (Gina) of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Gina Justice of Columbus, Ohio, Charise Champion (Jonathan) of Forest City and Jennifer Regan (James) of Fletcher, NC; brother, Gary Parker of Mayfield, Kentucky; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren along with all of their spouses and a brother-in-law, Tim Hall (Laura) of Forest City.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4:30 pm on Saturday, August 16th at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend David Henderson and Reverend Tim Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:30 pm prior to service time at the funeral home.
