Billy Harris

Billy Joe Harris, age 57, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020.

Billy was born April 21, 1963 in Rutherford County to the late Arnold David Harris and Mildred Louise Greene Harris. Billy always enjoyed joking around and having a good time with his friends and family He loved going to the Shriner’s Dances, working on crafts and was an avid fisherman. Billy will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Danny Ray Harris.

Those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Doris Bradley of Inman, SC and Mary Finley (Billy) of Bostic; two brothers, Dale Harris (Rita) of Henrietta and Bobby Harris (Doris) of Forest City. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at Harrelson Funeral Home on the day of the service.
