Barbara Maness

Barbara "Daphine" Maness, age 53, of Mooresboro, NC, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.
Barbara was born May 22, 1960 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late David Poole and Vernie Poole who resides in Mooresboro. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1978. Barbara worked for Stonecutter Mill most of her life and was a Baptist. Family was a priority in her life as well as her love for her cats.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her two daughters, Leslie Millis of Cowpens, SC and Samantha Maness of Forest City; two sisters, Sheila Robinette of Sandy Mush and Melissa Stephens and husband, Richard of Dacula, GA; one brother, John David Poole and wife, Diane of Henrietta. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Skylyn Millis, D.J. Millis, Bryson Millis and Joshua Robinson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Chase Baptist Church with Reverend Scott Butler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
