Barbara Campbell Rosenmarkle

Barbara Rosenmarkle, age 79, of Spindale, NC, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Barbara was born Saturday, January 5, 1946 in Duncan’s Creek Township to the late O.D. Campbell and Lila Mae Ingle Campbell. She worked as an administrative professional most of her life. She was a woman of great faith and had a strong passion to pass down her faith in God to her family. She was also a dedicated member of Adaville Baptist Church. Barbara enjoyed trips to the beach, crafts, sewing and cooking for her family. A few of her memorable specialties was her Shepherd’s Pie and her homemade cornbread served with cold milk. She also loved taking care of her pets. She will be missed dearly by all who loved and knew her.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Rosenmarkle; her daughter, Wendy Rosenmarkle; sisters, Frances Padgett, Nancy Jugar, Virginia Campbell; brothers, Bill and Jack Campbell.

Those left to honor her memory are her sons, Chris Rosenmarkle (Sallie) of Roswell, Georgia and Brent Rosenmarkle (Leslie) of Charlotte, NC; a granddaughter, Alexa Rosenmarkle and nephews, Mitchell Jugar of Forest City, Joey Padgett of Rutherfordton and Kelly Jugar of Tennessee.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 25th at Adaville Baptist Church with Reverend Jeff Pate officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
