Anthony "Tony" Carr

Anthony “Tony” Carr, age 50, of Bostic, NC, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Atrium Health-Cleveland in Shelby. Tony was born May 15, 1970 in Dunedin, Florida to Robert Carr and Cathy Harris Carr who reside in Bostic. He attended Gulf High School and graduated from Marchman Technical College in Pasco County, Florida. He was an electrician by trade and most recently worked as a Superintendent for Carolina Power. Tony was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, surfing and many other outdoor activities. He also enjoyed spending time with his fur buddy, Audi. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Carr and Gary Carr. In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include two sisters, Debora Cale (Robert) of Elk Grove, California and Kristen Henry (Peter) Fairview, NC; brother, Jack Carr (Julie) of Boiling Springs, NC and several nieces and nephews which includes a special nephew, Dillon Carr of Mooresboro. No formal services will be conducted, but a private time of remembrance will be held for family only.
