Annie Walker

Annie Mae Waters Walker, age 93, of Forest City, NC, died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at her residence.
Annie was born on August 25, 1917 to the late Monroe Waters and Alpha Belle Johnson Waters. She worked in textiles most of her life and enjoyed flower gardening and yard work. She was a member of Alexander Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Johnny Frances Walker; six brothers, Earnest Waters, Fred Waters, Ray Waters, Faye Waters, Barney Waters, Virgil Lee Waters; one sister, Mary Waters Silvers and one granddaughter, Pam Walker Tomblin.
Survivors include one daughter, Grace Marie Walker of Forest City; three sons, Jimmy Lee Walker of Forest City, William Ray Walker and wife, Kay, of Caroleen and Freddy Gene Walker of Sandy Mush; one sister, Daisy Waters Brown and husband, Daniel, of Caroleen; seven grandchildren, Tammy Atchley, Scott Walker, Kim Holland, Jeffrey Walker, Michelle Pettit, Gene Walker, and Yvonne Sissy Walker. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
