Amy Marie Stott, age 54, of Rutherfordton, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Amy was born October 24, 1970 to the late Charles Teague and Peggy Teague Baynard. She worked at National Textiles and later as a cook for “Appetites” Restaurant. Amy loved swimming and cooking for her family. She always had something prepared for anyone who visited.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children, Amber Elizabeth Teague, and Adam John Stott, niece, Brittany Nicole Shell, nephew, Bryson Clay Shell and a grandson, Anthony Andrew Ferree.
Survivors include her husband of twenty years, Daniel Ledford; daughter, Ashley Marie Stott of Mooresboro; son, Anthony Lawrence Stott (Kayla) of Rutherfordton; sisters, Teresa Ann Gettys of Rutherfordton and Julie Davis (Kevin) of Forest City; brother, Charles Douglas Teague of Rutherfordton; grandchildren, Eli James Blanton, Madison Stott, John Lawrence Stott, Layla Elizabeth Stott, Zaleigh Grace Stott and Amy’s “Bestest” friend, Tammy Frasier.
Amy will be entombed at the House of Eli Mausoleum on Saturday, April 5th.
