Adam Stott

Adam John Stott, age 17, of Rutherfordton died Monday, June 22, 2015 at Mission Hospital, Asheville. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of Jeffrey Lawrence Stott and Amy Teague Stott. He attended RS Central High School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters, Ashley Stott, Amber Teague and Christina Stott, all of Rutherfordton; brother Anthony Stott and fiancé Kayleh Lingon; niece Layla Stott; nephews Eli and Brad Blanton; grandparents Judy and Robert Greer of Commerce, GA and Hoyte Stott of Rutherfordton; cousins, Rebecca Shell, Buddy Shell, Katie Porter, Morgan and David Bennett; uncle, John and Nancy Stott; godfather Bill Wyatt. He was preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Peggy Teague and cousin Bryson Shell.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Souls Harbor Tabernacle with Reverend Chuck Poole and Reverend Gregg Shell officiating. Interment will follow in the Vein Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery at Marion. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday June 26, 2015 at Souls Harbor Tabernacle.
